Educated Educator

I have been teaching students in Southern California for about 8 years now. I love what I do. It is a demanding and strenuous career, but worth every minute. Teaching literature is a passion because I love literature and I love to teach. I hope that some of my posts will help educators who are searching for advice or for some lesson ideas. Although I have been laid off 5 times (so far) due to budget cuts and school funding, I am persistent in staying in the classroom to help students during this exciting time in education. Our world is changing rapidly, and we all need to catch up.
